I have worked in clinical medicine as an assistant to doctors and specialists since 1993 as well as owned and operated my own massage therapy practice in Oregon before moving back to Maui in 2009. Through my experience of working with hundreds of patients and private clients, I have seen, over and over, the deep need for personal and emotional as well as physical healing in each and every one of them.
My interest in hypnotherapy began in 2005 when, after a move back to the mainland, I found myself carrying around so much negative "baggage" that it was interfering with my ability to move forward in my life and feel happy. I was literally "stuck" and didn't know how to change that. Acting on the recommendation of a good friend of mine, I made an appointment to see a local hypnotherapist.
My experience was one of profound personal and emotional healing. I left the hypnotherapist's office feeling ten times taller and ten times lighter than I had felt in years. I felt free. That experience demonstrated to me how powerful and profound the mind is and how simple it can be to heal oneself.
Several years later the opportunity arose for me to fulfill my desire to provide to others what I had experienced. I left my home on Maui, traveled to Santa Fe New Mexico and enrolled in the extensive hypnotherapy certification program at the Hypnotherapy Academy of America. There I became a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist with specialized training in Medical Support Hypnotherapy and Blissborn(tm) Birth Hypnosis for natural childbirth. I have since continued to expande my scope of practice to include modalities that support and enhance the methods I offer my clients for rapid, deep, positive, personal shift and change.
